Have an Artsy Blobfest
Engage with the arts for one of Phoenixville’s most iconic festivals, Blobfest!
Hunt for Baby Blobs
Studio 323 is bringing back one of our favorite traditions: hunting for baby blobs. These ceramic creations will be invading Bridge Street between Gay Street and Starr Street. There will be THREE days of invasions this year, 7/10, 7/11, and 7/12, with roughly 200 red blobs. If you find one, it’s yours to keep! In addition to the red blobs, there are 10+ golden blobs that come with prizes! Follow Studio 323’s Instagram to see the prizes and to stay up to date on which golden blobs have been found.
Blob Hunting Etiquette:
Take One: We want as many people as possible to find a blob. Please only take one blob.
Outside Only: All blobs are visibly hidden outdoors and in pedestrian areas. DO NOT search in businesses, climb, or tamper with property to find a blob.
Screen Printed Blobs
Another favorite tradition is the Blobs of Phoenixville design created by the community. In June, 175 people in Phoenixville drew blobs with Silly Little Art Shop. Those drawings were used to create a graphic for screen printing shirts and tote bags. Reserve this year’s design through their preorder!
Craft Cinema - Blob-Themed
Join Here & Now Crafts at The Colonial Theatre for a Blobfest edition of Craft Cinema! “It Didn’t Work” by @stitchmello will be available Sunday, July 12 at 1 pm at the Colonial Theatre. Patterns and kits will be available!
