First Friday Art Guide
First Friday season is beginning in Phoenixville! Read below for all the ways to connect with the PXV art community on Friday, May 1, 2026.
NEW! Art Info Booth
Starting this month, you can visit the new Art Info Booth outside of 209 Bridge Street on First Fridays! Stop by to learn about The Great Phoenixville Art Hunt, meet local artists, and more! This May, Sophie Seidel will be offering caricature sketches.
Open Studios
The Upstairs Studio Artists will be open to the public on First Fridays from 5:30-8:30 PM. Make a happy flower print with Lee Pohlsander, pick up a zine from Lauren Ariel, and make an animation with Brooke Steylter.
Phoenixville Merch Release
Silly Little Art Shop is launching a whole bunch of new things this Friday, but we think you’ll be most excited about the Phoenixville merch release. This PXV map design is available on tote bags, glass cans, stickers, and more!
Gift Basket Bar: Mother’s Day Edition
Julie Miller Pottery is setting up a gift basket bar to help you customize the perfect gift for the moms in your life. Fill a handmade mug or planter with your mom’s favorite goodies, from loose-leaf teas and tea strainers to herb strippers and seed packets. The gift basket bar is open until Mother’s Day, May 10th.
Drop-in Workshop: Chaos Beading
Sign up in advance or simply drop by Studio 323 THIS First Friday from 6:30-8:30 PM for an alternative take on embroidered chaos beading!
Macaron Pop Up: Here & Now Crafts
Visit Here & Now Crafts starting at 5 PM for a Maracon Pop Up by Mrs. PTB Makes. Maracons will be sold in two-packs of Orange Hibiscus, London Fog, Blue Milk, Strawberry Rhubarb, Lavender, and Chocolate Salted Caramel.
Street Vendors
Last, but certainly not least, artisan vendors will fill the 100 and 200 blocks of Bridge Street for an outdoor market from 5:30-8:30 PM. Meet local artists and shop for handmade goods. Follow @pxvfirst for weather updates or cancellations.
